  • Tap the checkmark icon in the header to mark all as read
Delete:
  • Swipe left on a notification to reveal the red Delete button
  • Tap Delete to permanently remove the notification
Deleted notifications cannot be recovered. Use mark-as-read if you just want to dismiss the unread indicator.

Submission Reminders

Submission reminders are the most common notification type. They alert you when lot counts are due at your assigned locations.

How Reminders Work

  1. Your auction administrator configures a reminder schedule
  2. The system evaluates the schedule and sends reminders at the configured times
  3. Reminders are sent via push notification (and optionally email)
  4. If you’ve already submitted for the current period, the smart skip feature prevents unnecessary reminders

Reminder Notification Content

Each submission reminder includes:
  • Title — “Submission Reminder” or similar
  • Body — Location name and what’s due
  • Tap action — Opens the relevant submission screen

Email Reminder Preferences

By default, reminder emails are enabled for all users. You can opt out if you prefer to receive reminders only via push notifications.

Disabling Email Reminders

1

Open Profile

Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation
2

Find Email Toggle

Locate Reminder Emails in the Preferences section
3

Disable

Tap the toggle to disable email reminders. You’ll continue to receive push notifications.
Even with email reminders disabled, you’ll still receive push notifications and see reminders in the notification inbox.

Troubleshooting

Solutions:
  1. Check that push notifications are enabled in the app (Profile > Push Notifications)
  2. Verify device-level notification permissions (Settings > Auction Excellence > Notifications)
  3. Ensure you have an active internet connection
  4. Try toggling push notifications off and on again in the app
  5. On Android, check that battery optimization isn’t blocking notifications
Solutions:
  1. Pull to refresh in the notification inbox
  2. The badge updates every 30 seconds — wait a moment
  3. Force-close and reopen the app to reset the badge
Solutions:
  1. Swipe from right to left on the notification row
  2. Ensure you’re swiping on the notification content, not the screen edge
  3. If using a screen reader, use the actions menu instead
Solutions:
  1. Verify that your auction has a reminder schedule configured (ask your admin)
  2. Check that you’re assigned to the relevant location
  3. If you already submitted, smart skip may have suppressed the reminder
  4. Ensure push notifications are enabled (see above)
