Device Requirements
Auction Excellence requires iOS 15.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone but also works on iPad.

App Permissions
When you first open the app, you’ll be asked to grant permissions. Here’s what each permission is used for:| Permission | Purpose | Required? |

First Login
Creating an Account
There are two ways to create an account in Auction Excellence:Option 1: Sign Up Directly
If you want to create your own auction or join later via invitation:Enter Your Details
Fill in your full name, email address, and create a password (minimum 8 characters)
Option 2: Accept an Invitation First
If an administrator has invited you to their auction:Receive Your Invitation
Your administrator will send an invitation to your email address. Look for an email from Auction Excellence with the subject “You’ve been invited to join…”
Accept the Invitation
Open the email and tap Accept Invitation. This will open the app (or prompt you to download it first)
Set Your Password
If this is your first time, you’ll be prompted to create a password. Choose a strong password with least 8 characters
Already have an account? If you’ve been added to a new auction, accepting the invitation will add it to your existing account.
Pending Invitations
If you have pending auction invitations, you’ll see them displayed prominently when you log in.Pending Invites Banner
A blue banner appears at the top of your home screen showing:- The number of pending invitations
- Tap to expand and see details of each invite
- Accept to join the auction
- Decline to dismiss the invitation
The pending invites banner appears even if you’re already a member of other auctions. This ensures you never miss an invitation from a new team.
Invitation Details
Each pending invite shows:| Information | Description |

| Your Role | The role you’ll have (Admin or Team Member) |
| Invited By | Who sent the invitation |
| Expiration | Invitations expire after 7 days |
Signing In
Once your account is set up:Understanding Your Assigned Locations
After signing in, you’ll see your assigned locations - the parking lots you’re responsible for monitoring.- Your administrator assigns you to specific locations
- You can only submit data for your assigned locations
- If you need access to additional locations, contact your administrator
Enabling Push Notifications
Push notifications keep you informed about:- New chat messages and mentions
- Assignment changes
- Important announcements
App Navigation
Tab Bar Overview
The app uses a tab bar at the bottom of the screen for navigation. Here are the five main tabs:| Tab | Icon | Purpose |

Understanding Badges and Notifications
Badge notifications appear as red circles with numbers on tab icons. They indicate items that need your attention.

Home Screen Overview
When you open the app, you’ll see the Overwatch tab by default. This is your primary workspace for submitting lot counts. The home screen displays:- Your Activity widget - Progress rings showing your login streak, video completion, submissions, and inspections for the day. Tap to view your full Engagement & Achievements dashboard
- Location selector - Choose which lot you’re reporting on
- Submission types - Types of vehicles to count (configured by your admin)
- Recent submissions - Your latest submissions for quick reference
- Submit button - Tap to record your current lot count

Ready to submit your first lot count? Here’s a quick walkthrough:Select Your Location
From the Overwatch tab, tap the location dropdown and select the lot you’re reporting on
Choose Submission Types
Select which vehicle types you’re counting (your admin configures available types)
Congratulations! You’ve submitted your first lot count. Your data is now visible to administrators in real-time.
